Matthew P. Rocco Bio

Attorney at Law

Mr. Rocco graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in May 1986 and was granted admission to the California State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California in December 1986. His work ethic and knowledge of the law has earned him the respect of his peers, and the accolades of his clients. Mr. Rocco successfully represents his clients with a keen attention to detail, and a genuine capacity to put his clients concerns and fears at ease. Mr. Rocco knows that a strong legal strategy is integral to securing a positive resolution for his client. As your attorney, Mr. Rocco is steadfast in his commitment to protecting your rights.

Mr. Rocco is a member of the Bar Association of Northern San Diego County, is on the North County Lawyer Referral Panel, currently serves as the Vice President for the North County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service, and is a former Co-Chairperson for the Personal Injury Section of the North County Bar Association from 1999 to 2000. He also participated in the American Inns of Court (Barrister I & II, Oliver Wendell Holmes Chapter from 1999 to 2001).

Areas of distinction: Delta Theta Phi, John Paul Stevens Senate, (Vice Dean, 1984 to 1986); Recipient, American Jurisprudence Award for Uniform Commercial Code, 1986; Secretary, Thomas Jefferson School of Law Student Body Association, 1985 to 1986. Outside of his successful law practice, Mr. Rocco distinguishes himself as a leader in the community. Mr. Rocco currently serves as the Chair for the City of Carlsbad Beach Preservation Committee. He also serves as the Vice President for the Board of Directors for his Home Owner's Association (1999 to present), as a Coach for the Carlsbad Wave Soccer League and a volunteer for numerous activities at St. Patrick's Parish School in Carlsbad.

 

Bryan E. Mortlock

Attorney at Law - Of Counsel

Mr. Mortlock received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Affairs and a Minor in Business from Indiana University. While attending Indiana University, Mr. Mortlock secured an internship with the Marion County Public Defender's Office where he assisted in the representation of individuals facing criminal charges.

After graduating from the University of Indiana, Mr. Mortlock attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 2005. While attending Thomas Jefferson, Mr. Mortlock served as an intern for the San Diego City Attorney in the Family Justice Center. Following his work, with the San Diego City Attorney, Mr. Mortlock interned with a personal injury law firm, gaining the knowledge necessary to handle the complex aspects of personal injury law.

In 2007, Mr. Mortlock opened his own office specializing in the areas of criminal, traffic, and personal injury law.

Mr. Mortlock is a Member of the California State Bar, American Bar Association, and the San Diego County Bar Association.
